Women's Conference

Gosh! We really enjoy looking at all of your blogs, but we're really horrible at keeping ours up to date. Well - we'll make a go at it.

I just returned from a wonderful trip to BYU Women's Conference with my sister Jennie. We had a terriffic time! If you can believe it - it snowed on us!!! Coming from 85 degree weather in Phoenix, it was quite a shock to see the white stuff falling from the sky.

We went to dinner on Wednesday night with Aunt Virginia Ashdown and Cousin Sheri Jenkins at the Lion House in Salt Lake City. It was really nice to spend some time with them. We stayed at John's brothers house (Bryon & Debbie) in Lehi. We got up early on Thursday morning and drove in to Provo and had a great time wandering around campus listening to different speakers. We heard from Sherri Dew, Julie Beck, and President Monson. What a treat! We attended a concert on Thursday night with several LDS performers like Michael McClean, Eclipse, Hillary Weeks, Kenneth Cope, and Jenny Jordan Frogley. We managed to catch a movie, eat dinner at all the hot spots (brick oven) and even do a little shopping. What a great time!

Now we're both back home and back to the grind:) Looking forward to the next adventure. I think it will be our trip to California for Luke's baptism at the end of this month.
