Norway Trip
We were fortunate enough to take a trip with several of our relatives this past summer to Norway. Grandpa Kleven was born and raised there and we wanted to take as many of his posterity to see this beautiful country. All of his living children and spouses were able to go as well as Kit Jensen, John & I (grandchildren). We had a great time visiting the sights in Oslo and Bergen. We then went on a remarkable train trip across the country to meet up with our cruise boat. We cruised the coast of Norway from the south going all the way up to Kirkenes - which borders Russia. There were many stops along the way where we could get off the boat and visit the towns and take in the beautiful scenery. We saw Reindeer! One of the best highlights of the trip was when Grandpa's kids all got off the boat to go visit the home where he was born. Aunt Donna engineered that trip. We had some wonderful missionary experiences along the way as well. Next time we take a trip to a foreign country, we'll remember to take a Book of Mormon in the native tongue!! We're trying to put together a trip to visit some Book of Mormon ruins. Who wants to go?
